EPCG WOMEN MINISTRY LEADERSHIP URGED TO BE FLEXIBLE AND INNOVATIVE.

A former Vice Chancellor of the Koforidua Technical University and a Gender Consultant, Prof. Mrs Smile Gavua Dzisi has urged leadership of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Ghana, EPCG Women Ministry to embrace innovation and flexibility.

This according to her, is the only way the young ladies in the church can be brought on board to actively participate in programmes by the Women Ministry of the church. Prof. Mrs Gavua Dzisi who was speaking at the 40th Anniversary launch of the EPCG Women Ministry further emphasized the importance of unity in the church.

Speaking on the theme of the programme “Forty years of empowering women and nurturing women for positive exploits”, she commended the Women Ministry for their significant contribution in the church, targeted at spiritually, physicially and financially grooming women that has positively impacted lives.

The number 40 in the scriptures, according to her, represent the completion of an empowerment season and preparation for greater heights.

The former KTU Vice Chancellor, asked women to remain focused in the Lord’s Strength to achieve greater heights for the Women Ministry and the church at large.

The Queen Mother of Ho Dome Asogli State, Mama Attrator who was the guest of honor for the programme urged politicians to be circumspect in their utterances as they go about their political rallies ahead of the 2024 general elections.
