Meek Mill has announced a special “Meek Mill + Friends” event at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center on November 26 during the holiday weekend to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his debut album.
At 10 a.m. on Nov. 2, tickets for the one-night-only performance—which will include special guests—become available.
Before Sunday’s Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys game at Lincoln Financial Field, Meek recently played the album’s iconic beginning, “Dreams and Nightmares.”
Dreams & Nightmares, which was released on October 30, 2012, sold 165,000 copies in its first week and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Drake, Rick Ross, and Mary J. Blige all appeared on the album, which also produced the title tune and singles like “Amen.”
Meek is getting ready to release his first music since Expensive Pain in 2021 when the announcement is made. In two weeks, his mixtape Flamers 5 will be released, he said. He recently hinted that the album would include his remix of Ice Spice’s viral smash “Munch.”
After ten years, Meek ended his relationship with his management at Roc Nation and began working with William Morris Endeavor. He also disclosed his intention to work with independent labels to release ten albums.
