After more than two decades, the hip-hop legend Dr. Dre has decided to sell his beach property.

According to Dirt.com, Dre, who paid roughly $4.8 million for the beachside property in 2000, has offered it for $20 million.

The early 1990s-era three-story mansion has floor-to-ceiling glass walls, a gated courtyard, and a kitchen with high-end stainless appliances. It is situated on a nearly 7,000 square foot lot on Carbon Beach in Malibu, also known as “Billionaire’s Beach.”

A principal bedroom with a fireplace, five guest bedrooms, a sitting space and private terrace, a recording studio, a gym, and approximately 9,000 square feet of contemporary house are all included.

It is one of the bigger houses on Carbon Beach and opens to a balcony beside the water.

The opulent residences, which are close to Nobu Malibu, were most recently occupied by Dr. Dre’s ex-wife Nicole Young during their highly publicized divorce.

Ten years ago, Dre made an attempt to sell the home with an asking price of between $11 million and $12.5 million.

The 57-year-old billionaire, who has a $400 million net worth, reached a divorce settlement and promised to give his ex-wife $100 million in December.

He will keep the homes he purchased from Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen, including the Malibu home, two houses in Calabasas, and a $40 million Brentwood estate.
