Famous Ghanaian musician Kwabena Kwabena, whose real name is George Kwabena Adu, has pushed women to leave abusive relationships.

Kwabena Kwabena said that it is not love if someone who claims to love you physically mistreats you. When your man raises his hand to strike you, please end this kind of relationship. If your spouse abuses you, regardless of your marital status, pack your belongings and return to your father’s home,” he declared.

As far as he is concerned, women should immediately end a relationship if their partner abuses them or even makes an attempt to abuse them. He underlined that physical abuse of any kind by a partner should never be tolerated by women because it is not a sign of love.

To a greater extent, the highlife legend claimed that if his daughter entered a relationship, he would not put up with any abuse of any kind directed at her and also condemned men who engage in any form of domestic violence. He said

“If my daughter is getting married, I will tell her husband one thing: he either takes care of her or leaves her alone. “As soon as I learn that she is being abused, I will personally go get her from her husband’s house and take her home,” he continued.

This assertion was made by the “adult music” hitmaker in a special interview with Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo
