Britain Got Talent: Afronita and Abigail shine as they places third in the competition

Award-winning Ghanaian dancers Afronita and Abigail have brought immense pride to Ghana by reaching the top three in the recently concluded 17th season of Britain’s Got Talent.

Donning authentic Kente fabric to celebrate their Ghanaian heritage, the duo delivered what many on social media have called an electrifying performance. Their colorful and vibrant display left the audience and judges in awe, showcasing their extraordinary talent.

Afronita, aged 20, and 7-year-old Abigail performed a medley of African songs, including Fuse ODG’s “Antenna,” bringing a taste of Africa to the world stage. Their performance earned a standing ovation, with the crowd showering them with praise even during the judges’ evaluations.

To the surprise of many, even the notoriously tough judge Simon Cowell praised the duo, stating, “I replayed your last performance and turned the volume down just to know that you’re so good.” Referring to the audience, he added, “I think what is happening behind me is more important than what I say.”
