The state of affairs in the country is of major concern to many well- meaning and concerned Ghanaians because everyone is suffering the consequences. This time around, the effect of bad leadership doesn’ t just affect the common Ghanaian, but a whole lot of rich and famous are complaining about the state of affairs.

Since the current government took over almost eight years ago, the amount of money Ghana as a Nation has borrowed is alarming. The most annoying and sad thing is that all the money that is being borrowed on behalf of the citizens is not put to good use. This has become a major problem and everyone is concerned about the amount Ghana owes, especially some of the conditions attached to the loan.

Late last night, Ghanaian sensational artiste Black Sherif made a very damning and shocking revelation about what President Nana Akufo Addo was up to in New York. Apparently, there was a UN Conference held in New York and he happened to attend. Blacko as he is fondly called revealed that President Akufo Addo gave a presentation during the conference.

He said he left the venue immediately after the President finished his presentation. The artiste said the amount of money the President intend to borrow again is staggering and alarming if Ghanaians hear it. He questioned what the leaders do with all the money they borrow. He added that everyone should get ready for what is coming, read his tweet below:

” @blacksherif: Left the UN Conference in New York City right after the president of Ghana’ s presentation. I’ ve never heard a figure like what he asked for from the UN. So if they carry all this money give dem, where them dey take pass?

Hand on my heart I dey tell you there’ s no evidence for all the money these people dey borrow in our name. And if the people, whose struggles you document to go ask for money, want accountability, you send Koti make they dey beat them? Lord knows this battle is Ours. Wonna go hear am. “

Ghanaians in the comment section of the post are super concerned about this revelation made by Blacko. They are worried that Ghana is in so much debt already with nothing to show for it. Now the President is about to borrow even more money without proper accountability for previous ones. Some Netizens suggest a peaceful protest just like Nigerians did during the end SARS. ” @precious_gift2: Ghanaian youth we need to arise. These leaders are killing our future and that of our children. “

” @myzz_kwansi: The money they bid for is for their families and loved ones because once they are out of power they won’ t get money to loot. I wish these people wouldn’ t give us loans till 2025. Let them use what they get in taxes to manage the country till 2024. The most annoying thing is they will use the money to take care of their girlfriends making us look like we ain’ t trying enough in life. “

” @mukesh_al_halal: GHANA YOUTHS ARE SO SELFISH, ONLY CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR OWN WELFARE. Once they get a little benefit they shut up till they are hungry again! Smfh! “

” @mz_naaokailey: If only we can come together and make proper noise and hashtag just like the way the Nigerians did with the end SARS movement, they can’ t keep running us street. “
