Hollywood IT couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt who have been on the news for some time now over divorce proceedings settlements have once again popped up in the news with new additions.
The Mr. and Mrs. Smith celebrated couple have been in court over ongoing divorce settlments and lawsuit over ‘Chateau Miraval SA’, a home and vineyard in the south of France that the former Hollywood couple acquired together.
As part of this lawsuit Angelina Jolie and her team of lawyers have filed another complaint of being attacked by her ex-husband Brad Pitt while he was drank, of which the latter has denied any such assault.
According to Jolie in the lawsuit, Brad Pitt grabbed her by the head and attacked two of their children on a trip they took in 2016.
In a complaint over a French winery that the stars bought, Ms Jolie says Mr Pitt grabbed her by the head and attacked two of their children on the September 14th 2016 trip. He verbally abused and poured wine on his family during the flight from France to Los Angeles, she said.
The incident was investigated by the FBI in 2016 however the authorities decided not to press charges on Brad Pitt.
Her lawyers alleged the Fight Club star began shouting, accusing her of being “too deferential to the children”, this accusation was followed by Mr. Pitt grabbing Jolie by her head, shaking her shoulders before slaming her into the bathroom wall.
When one of his children intervened, he proceeded to lunge at the child, to which Jolie had to grab him from behind to stop him.
To get Jolie off his back, they added, Pitt threw himself backwards into the airplane’s seats injuring Jolie’s back and elbow, and when the children rushed in to protect their mom, Pitt choked one of them and struck another one’s face.
A source close to the actor told the BBC that Ms Jolie’s claims were false, stating that Jolie is rehashing an event that never happened.
