“Actor LilWin Spills the Beans: Why Romantic Roles Aren’t His Jam!”

Ghanaian actor LilWin, renowned for his roles in popular Ghallywood films, recently discussed the challenges he encounters in his career.

Although he has tackled diverse characters, he confessed that romantic roles pose the greatest difficulty for him.

During a recent interview with 3Xtra’s King Kwaku Mensa while promoting his upcoming movie, ‘A Country Called Ghana’, LilWin revealed his unease with romantic scenes, admitting to feeling shy and uncomfortable when required to kiss another character on screen.

He stressed that actors like Van Vicker and Majid are better suited for such roles, as they excel in portraying romantic emotions convincingly.

LilWin also recalled a particularly tough moment on set when he was tasked with improvising a disabled character.

Despite his struggles with romantic roles, he affirmed his readiness to embrace any character demanded of him as an actor.

‘A Country Called Ghana’ is scheduled to premiere in Accra in May and June, showcasing LilWin’s versatility. Despite his reservations, he remains committed to delivering captivating performances across various characters, demonstrating his dedication to his craft.
