Ghanaian TikTok star and entrepreneur, Aba Martin, better known as Aba Dope, recently detailed her experiences of living and working in China, her decision to leave her nursing career, and her journey of self-improvement through cosmetic surgery.
In an interview with Berla Mundi, Aba Dope admitted her difficulty in pronouncing certain English words, which led to her dismissal from her teaching job in China. Despite her qualification as a nurse, she chose the path of business for survival.
Aba Dope has always been candid about her life experiences and this interview was no exception. She opened up about her decision to undergo a Brazilian butt-lift surgery, a procedure that cost her roughly GHC 25,000, excluding additional expenses like hotel accommodations and postoperative care.
She touched on the insecurities that led to her decision to have the surgery, expressing that she felt her small buttocks made her look masculine, which resulted in her feeling unattractive. These feelings were so intense that she even compared her appearance to that of a transgender person.
