A serious accident happened in the early hours of Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Tech Junction in Kumasi. The incident took place around 2:45 am and involved a white Toyota Corolla S with registration number AS 2406-23.

According to reports, the driver of the white Corolla crashed into a trailer that had broken down and was parked on the road. It is believed that the trailer was left unattended without proper warning signs, which may have contributed to the crash.

The force of the impact was very strong, and the car was badly damaged. Eyewitnesses at the scene were shocked by the extent of the damage to the vehicle. They described the accident as very serious and said the driver was severely injured. The driver’s condition appeared critical, and it was clear that he needed urgent medical attention.

People in the area quickly rushed to the scene to help. Some bystanders attempted to rescue the injured driver from the wrecked car while others called for help. Emergency services were contacted, and the driver was later taken to the hospital for treatment. As of now, his condition remains unknown.

Residents and road users around the Tech Junction area are calling on authorities to take steps to ensure that broken-down vehicles are removed quickly from the roads to prevent accidents like this from happening again. They believe that more warning signs, reflectors, and improved lighting in such areas could help protect drivers, especially during the night and early morning hours.
