Former NDC organiser vows to stand firm as he reveals chilling threats against him

Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Organiser Joshua Akamba has sent a defiant message to his alleged attackers, declaring that threats against his life will not silence him.

The outspoken politician revealed that he has received what he described as direct threats, including a warning from an unknown caller who allegedly threatened to stab him.

But Akamba, in a bold response, insisted he remains fearless, saying death does not frighten him because of his belief in reincarnation.

“I am not afraid of death,” he declared, maintaining that he will continue to speak and act according to his convictions.

“Threats won’t break me” — Akamba takes a stand

Speaking on a radio programme, Akamba said he has faced similar intimidation in the past and survived, stressing that he will not be forced into silence.

The former NDC executive accused some individuals of attempting to intimidate him but insisted he remains committed to his principles.

“I survived threats under Akufo-Addo and will do so now and after Mahama,” he said, according to reports.

Political circles watch as controversy grows

Akamba’s comments have sparked conversations within political circles, with many watching closely as he maintains his outspoken stance despite the alleged threats.

The former party organiser also spoke about criticism surrounding his personal circumstances, saying he has remained independent despite some of his former associates becoming financially successful.

As the debate continues, Akamba’s strong words have added another dramatic chapter to Ghana’s political landscape, with questions now being raised over the source of the alleged threats and what steps will follow.
