Ghanaian pastor and gospel musician Sonnie Badu has claimed that a large percentage of American gospel musicians are members of the LGBT+ community.

In an interview with Accra FM, he stated that 78% of gospel musicians in the US are gay. Badu expressed concern that once the true sexual orientations of these individuals are revealed, people may no longer want to listen to or sing their songs.
