7-year-old girl rapɛd to death!!

A tragic incident has unfolded at Masuri in India after the body of a seven-year-old girl was found in a drain on Sunday.

The girl had gone missing on Saturday evening while playing outside her home. Her parents, who are labourers, reported her disappearance to the Masuri police when she didn’t return home after dark. They searched the neighbourhood but couldn’t find her, leading them to file a missing person’s complaint.

The girl’s body was discovered just 50 meters away from her house the next day, hidden under a pile of bricks. The police suspect she was hit on the head and then dumped in the drain. An autopsy revealed that she had been sexually assaulted before being killed. The postmortem report showed injuries to her head as the cause of death, confirming the assault.

Following a complaint from the girl’s father, an FIR was registered against an unidentified suspect under Section 302 (punishment for murder) of the IPC at Masuri police station.

Four teams have been formed to track down the perpetrator, and police are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas for leads. Additional charges under IPC Section 376 (punishment for sexual assault) and relevant sections of the Pocso Act are expected to be added to the FIR soon.
