High Life legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu alias Daddy Lumba got candid on his 58th birthday when he revealed some of the things he’s been through in the past years.
The musician in a self video on his official YouTube page made to thank fans and loved ones for being with him and supporting him throughout the years, opened up on some issues he had dealing with.
He revealed how he got abandoned by his family and friends when he got sick and was bedridden for 5 years. He was shocked at how the people he trusted and loved, and once called themselves his friends and famy left him at the point of need.
That episode in his life made him realize that people aren’t really who they claim to be and gave birth to his hit song ‘Ye ne wo sere kwa’ and ‘Yentia obia’. He added that it was a painful lesson that has stuck with him permanently.
