The Akufo Addo led administration might have sent Ghana back to IMF. Of course Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has admitted they fu¢ked up but who never fu¢ked up? Hands in the air. No hands? Ghana under His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo is exploring the opportunity of getting a loan from IMF.
Members of the minority and NDC are slamming Government left and right with the likes of Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, Ex President Mahama, Hon. Isaac Adongo, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketsiah and others all firing shots at His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo.
Regardless what NPP communicators are asking is who never went to the IMF? Deputy Majority Leader, Hon Alexander Afenyo Markins on the floor of Parliament said NDC went to the IMF at the time when there is no major global challenge unlike NPP where there is Covid- 19 and Russia- Ukraine war. NPP admits going to IMF is not a good news but that does not change the fact that NDC would have done worse in their position. Meanwhile, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong believes NPP cannot break the 8 with this bad governance. ” What are we going to say again. Somebody texted me, don’ t say anything about IMF.
Me, I shouldn’ t say anything about IMF, I will say it. It is just like handing over power to NDC without a contest, straight away. Because the noise we made, and I chew my own words back when I said NDC went to IMF because of mismanagement of the economy. So Breaking the 8 is going to be tough” .
A lot of memes, video and pictures have gone viral since the issue of IMF popped up. One of the popular memes is one carrying the message inspired by talented musician Black Sherif.
