Akufo Addo’s Cousin Exposes Him Big Time- Drops Shocking Details On E- Levy


Leading member of NPP and President Akufo Addo’ s cousin, Mr Gabby Otchere Darko has revealed that the E- Levy introduced by the President is failing to achieve it target.

Mr Gabby Otchere Darko tweeted that a lot of people are blaming his cousin for bad economy but they are the same people who don’ t pay taxes. Development according to him goes hand in hand with taxation so if you have decided not to pay what money do you expect President Akufo Addo to work with.

” We can’ t continue to use all the little revenues raised to pay our debts. Very soon we may have to borrow to pay wages! ” he tweeted. He further revealed that after NDC MPs fought against such a good initiative as the E- Levy and threw dust into the eyes of Ghanaians, Government has had only 60 million which is only 10% of the target set which is not enough to do anything.

” Options are open to government? The question should rather be: what option, if adopted, will re- inject investor confidence in our economy? Even if we find the $3- 5 billion required, will that help? E- levy which was to have given us some 600m by now has done less than 60m” .

Akufo Addo’ s cousin continued that people are complaining of increased in prices of commodities but in his opinion it’ s not the fault of Government. To him Government through planting for food and jobs has produced food in abundant but some people are intentionally increasing things for their own selfish interest.

” Ghana has no food crisis, enough food from our farms, yet food prices have shot up 3-4 times more in our cities, far & above rising cost of transportation. To make matters worse. global food insecurity is worsening as inflation, from challenges with supply chain, worsens”.
