He can run but he can’ t hide” he emphasized. According to him it was an opportunity for the Akufo Addo led administration to account for each cedi spent on the National Cathedral but failure on the part of Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta to report to Parliament is a clear indication of how corrupt the project has been.

Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa wrote on facebook ” If it was an opportunity to engage in unconstitutional withdrawals of taxpayer funds, he would have proceeded with unholy alacrity” . Okudzeto alleged that Government has secretly transferred in excess of GH¢200 million to the Cathedral without the approval of Parliament.

” In our latest exposé on the Akufo- Addo cathedral scandal, we reveal that despite the colossal unconstitutional withdrawals from the Consolidated Fund in excess of GHS200million, and despite contractors abandoning site for lack of payment”.

He in other episodes of his exposes revealed that despite the illegal payments made into the National Cathedral, government still owes some of the people whose properties were demolished. Ghanaians according to the NDC MP should expect Ken Ofori-Atta to carry out another unconstitutional withdrawal from the Consolidated Fund in the next few days.
