The National Chairman of the opposition NDC, Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has revealed that he is closing down his poultry farm which he has been operating for the past 25 years because of His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo.
Mr Ofosu Ampofo noted for previous years his poultry farm has been doing well with a lot of profits but everything started going bad immediately Akufo Addo won the elections in 2016. Inflation, high prices of goods and other poultry apparatus has led to a consistent decline. Year after year, he has been recording loses under His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo leaving him with no option than to close it.

Speaking with Osei Bonsu on Asempa FM, the NDC Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo told listeners that ” I am a poultry farmer and I am closing down my farm after 25 years. I just can’ t buy feed.
It has been very expensive. When you buy the feed and transport to feed the birds and they lay eggs, the money you get doesn’ t break even” Every bussiness man invest because of profit but according to Mr Ofosu Ampofo he has become a father Christmas instead of a bussiness man.
Under Akufo Addo, he invest more than he get after sales. ” I spoke with my farm manager and told him I am not a father Christmas because I always borrow money to finance the farm and I know others are also facing same and so I am forced to close the farm down because it is not worth going into it again, ” he said, as quoted.
Due to bad management on the part of His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo, Ofosu Ampofo has been forced to retire from the poultry farm industry whiles his farm has also been shutdown
