The chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Freddie Blay has recently come out to set the records straight over the Ghc 25 million allocated for the construction of the National Cathedral.
Speaking in a recent circulating video, the chairman of the NPP, Freddie Blay highlighted that, Ghanaians should disregard all allegations against the Akufo Addo government causing more harm than good to the economic situation currently facing citizens in the country.
In addition to this, Freddie Blay also made it clear that, the Ghc 25 million the incumbent President, Akufo Addo released for the construction of the National Cathedral was the right initiative to implement and that, Ghanaians should not blindly criticize the government for that reason. ” It is not easy; you can sit in your room and use a calculator to punch figures, make conclusions and say you could do this and that.
I wish they would stand in for elections and get elected as President. You have the theories, come out with your manifesto; if prices of goods are going up and maybe they have a magic way of making water become beer, let them do that.
That does not mean that what Mahama told Bawumia about not criticizing Presidents if you aren’ t one is right; there is a difference.
For the Ghc 25 million that has been released for the National Cathedral, it is the right thing to do; Okafuo didi” Chairman of the NPP, Freddie Blay emphatically stated.
