The motorists in the Greater Accra region have recently taken the opportunity to calm the incumbent government for rehabilitation of the Accra- Tema highway. According to recent reports, one has to be extra careful when driving on the Accra- Tema motorway.
The road which was known to have been constructed over 50 years ago seems to have become very difficult to drive on because it has been taken over by potholes, patches, and bumps.
In addition to this, most motorists have boldly come out to highlight that, the road had become a nightmare hence seeking government intervention. Some motorists took the opportunity to share their ordeal whilst plying the road. ” Someone nearly killed me in the past three days.

The road is bad, the government has to do something about it. They tried fixing it but when it rains, the road destroys again. It is too much. One vehicle crashed with an Okada rider; it was a serious accident” , Albert Amoah emphatically revealed.
” The road is terrible so we want the government to help us to prevent accidents and save lives ” , Sawad Mahmoud emphatically stated. ” The Tema motorway is a complete death trap.
Whatever needs to be done must be done, it is clearly not helping users. I have personally burst a front tire on that stretch. You can imagine what happens at the night. It is dangerous to road users and pedestrians” , Duncan Amoah emphatically revealed.
