Prince David Osei, an outspoken supporter of the National Patriotic Party, has made a compelling case for forgiveness for his role in Ghana’ s problems. The actor was a firm advocate of the current government in the run- up to the 2020 general elections.

The Ghanaian actor cited various atrocities committed by the Nana Akufo- Addo- led government in a post uploaded on his official social networking accounts.

He cited mistaken priorities, self- glory, avarice, and recent insensitivity to the condition of the populace as examples.

The truth is that the concerns he raised are not new and have existed since 2017. As a result, on social media, fans and Ghanaians have queried why concerns are being raised now.

The actor also bemoaned the government’ s incapacity to compensate workers, employees, and Ghanaians who toil away to make ends meet. He also railed against the government’ s approval of a 25 million Cedis national cathedral seed fund. The fact that the funds were approved appears to be the basis of his repentance.

He apologized to Ghanaians for being led astray by greed and a desire for money into supporting the NPP. Many say the actor is troubled by his conscience as a result of maybe disregarding his better judgment in order to feed himself.

In other news, The Vice- President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia said that the worst performance of the Ghana cedi occurred in the erstwhile former President John Mahama’ s administration where the average depreciation rate was 18%.

According to him, the ” average exchange rate depreciation during 2017 – 2021, at 6. 8% under our government, is more than twice as stable than during the 2013 – 2016 period. ”

Speaking on the state of the economy at the national TESCON conference in Kasoa. Dr. Bawumia said in the history of the Fourth Republic, the worst performances for exchange rate depreciation happened from 1993 to 2000 and from 2009 – to 2016.
