The circulating news concerning the selling of the Achimota forest reserve has raised lots of concerns amongst Ghanaians and government officials as individuals seek to convince the incumbent government to do otherwise.

What is the difference between 361 and 180? Per argument, shouldn’ t the minister have commissioned the 118 acres and left it undone? His argument; why 361, encompasses the whole Achimota forest as it is now. That is 244 acres; I said it is a thousand plots that are being left to the subjectivity of Jinapor and other subsequent land ministers.
So, what do you want to call it, is that not theft? The whole of the Achimota forest has now been declared ceases to be a forest reserve for which reason now, it has been left to the whims and vagrancies of wild animals to come and impinge on what is left of our greenery in this town. Stealing 244 acres of land for what” , Twum Boafo emphatically revealed.
