Maurice Ampaw, a well- known Ghanaian lawyer, has openly exposed new facts regarding Sir John’ s alleged Will, which claims he bequeathed his piece of the Achimota Forest to one of his family members.

Sir John’ s purported Will on Achimota Forest is fake and untrue, according to Maurice Ampaw, because Sir John, a lawyer for many years, knows that he cannot Will an asset that he did not acquire on his own.

He went on to say that he doesn’ t believe Sir John had that in his Will and that anyone can change it to suit their interests. ” Every corporation is an artificial human being under company law, and you cannot give out an asset that you did not obtain yourself under Will law, and Sir John knows more about this than I do. That is why I am sure that Sir John’ s claimed Will is a forgery, and Ghanaians should not believe it.

On Neat FM, lawyer Maurice Ampaw brazenly exposed this. The controversy around the Achimota Forest is still raging. The narrative began on Tuesdays, when news that the forest had been sold spread like wildfire.

Later, the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources appeared to calm suspicions that the forest had been sold. Only a small fraction of the forest has been declassified and delivered to the land’ s original owners, according to Samuel Abu Jinapor.

However, one of the points of contention has been the release of hectares of land.

Instead of the 118 hectares that had been settled upon, the Minister released over 361 acres. In his arguments, the Minister stated that they had just agreed to an existing arrangement reached during the John Dramani Mahama administration.
