Captain Smart, host of Onua Maakye on Onua TV, has disclosed the identity of the president who was able to fix Accra’ s water problems. Captain Smart said on the Onua Maakye show on Onua TV this morning that John Agyekum Kuffour was the only President who could fix Accra’ s water problems.
He demonstrated his claim by stating that John Agyekum Kuffour was able to build the Alajo water system, which alleviated flooding in the area. Jerry John Rawlings, John Atta Mills, John Mahama, and Nana Akuffo Addo, he said, have all failed to resolve the problem. He issued a strong message to President Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo, urging him to do the right thing and learn from former President Kuffour.
Captain Smart’ s main concern is that President Akuffo Addo appears unconcerned about Accra’ s current water crisis. He went on to say that the President had not even paid a visit to the afflicted family.

He went on to explain that whenever there are floods in Accra, the government tells Ghanaians the same story. Rain storms have been falling over the nation this weekend. The torrential rains have wreaked havoc in several areas of the capital.
This is a scenario that has been playing out for decades, and successive administrations have done little to stop it.
Johnnie Hughes disclosed a news item from 2018 in which the Works and Housing Minister at the time, Samuel Atta Kyea, stated that Ghana’ s sewage issues would be effectively rectified.
The minister went on to say that the government has set aside 17.3 million cedis for this purpose. He went on to say that President Akuffo Addo had promised to provide $200 million to help fix the problem, which arises every year.
