The renowned Ghanaian politician and member of the ruling government have unexpectedly defended the finance minister, Ken Ofori Atta again over the involvement of DataBank in raising revenue in running the affairs of the country.
Speaking in a recent interview on the ” Good Morning Ghana” show on Metro Television, the renowned Ghanaian politician and member of the NPP, Nana Akomea massively supported Ken Ofori Atta’ s initiative on generating revenue for the smooth running of the country’ s economic affairs.
The CEO of STC, Nana Akomea later queried aside emphatically urging the opposition party to refrain from campaigning against the finance ministry but rather support the incumbent government in developing the country and not otherwise. ”
The finance minister’ s company has been involved with some leveraging some loans that some financing and this country had been benefiting and that it seems that the focus of the finance ministry, the investment people and do their focus is to raise money now.
What is the basic work of a finance minister; to raise the money isn’ t it? And then we are being told that the people seem focused on raising money and we have been told that they are complaining.
