The Board Chairman for UBA, Kwaku Andoh Awotwi has finally shared his immense opinions and thoughts concerning the current constitution of the country in terms of governance amongst others.
Speaking in a recent interview on JoyNews, the Board chairman for UBA, Kwaku Andoh Awotwi highlighted that, the country under the administration of the incumbent President, Nana Akufo Addo is in need of constitutional reform due to the current two- party system which is neither yielding any effective benefits that most Ghanaian citizens anticipated over the past couple of years.
The Board Chairman for UBA, Kwaku Andoh Awotwi, later revealed that the country’ s political managers are effectively the same as our economic managers. ” There is no question in my mind that, the country is in need of constitutional reform.

There is no question in my mind that the current two- party system is not yielding the benefits that we all needed; effectively two- party system even though we have provisions for other smaller parties, is not yielding the benefits that we all hope for back in 1992 when the constitution was first put together.
We are caught in this four to eight- year political cycle with which we are all very familiar. What really aggravates the situation for many of us who work in the economy is that our political managers are effectively the same as our economic managers.
We have a small private sector and whether you look at the petroleum industry, many of these companies are dominated by state- owned institutions” , the Board chairman for UBA, Kwaku Andoh Awotwi emphatically revealed.
