The former President of Ghana now aspiring as the leader of the opposition NDC, Ex President John Dramani Mahama has claimed that Ghanaians are suffering and learning their lessons the hard way for voting against him in 2016.
According to the former President, His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP came with big promises just to decieve Ghanaians and unfortunately most voters fell for it.
Ex President Mahama believes Ghanaians are reaping the results of their decision to vote him out in 2016.

” When someone new comes along and sways the people with sweet talk, and you are voted out, you let them learn. And Ghanaians today are learning” Former President Mahama added.
” If you ask Ghanaians today to assess my four years as President, they will tell you there was a lot of transformation in the country, especially in the field of infrastructure, ” Mr. Mahama said.
In his opinion, he believes Ghanaians have regreted in voting him out because his first term in office was far better as compared to the years spent by NPP in government. Although he was voted out of power in 2016, the lessons are written all over by the way Ghanaians are suffering now.
Ex President Mahama claimed that the only thing NPP can boost of in their six years in power is excessive borrowing coupled with mismanaged, corruption among others. Even after taking billions of loan, less or no development has been done in the country.
“It’s been around six years so far. The country is in crisis. We are running into debt. The government has borrowed in excess of GHC270 billion, and there is nothing to show for”.
Meanwhile, Ex President John Dramani Mahama has declared his intention to contest in the election with the hope of Ghanaians him a giving him a second chance.
