Honorable Mike Hamma, a former Member of Parliament for the National Democratic Congress who also served as Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, has brazenly supported President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and Honorable Samuel Jinapor, claiming that they did absolutely nothing wrong.

He claims that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo’ s legal discussions over the Achimota Forest did not begin today. He indicated that it began under former President John Agyekum Kufuor in 2007.

Following the National Democratic Congress, the procedure was carried on. The National Democratic Congress even formed committees to investigate the reality behind the Owoo family’ s sovereignty of sections of the Achimota forest. It became clear that they were the true owners.

Again, the circumstances that prompted the government to take the forest away from them were not met.

It was designed to help the Achimota school grow. They were not reimbursed either. President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo and the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources are not doing anything new, according to Allan Hamma.

The National Democratic and steadfast party’ s response put an end to the cheap lie that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo wants to sell parts of the Achimota Forest. He argued that the forest should be protected by the government since it benefits Greater Accra and Ghana.

Kwesi stated that he has no reason to suspect that this case is compromised by corruption. He stated that he believes the administration on this issues and that there is no money or handshakes involved with the ACHIMOTA forest. His role concern, he said, was that the surrounding area and other areas would be sold off, causing the  area to lose its value and natural beauty.
