President Akufo- Addo has appointed Cecilia Abena Dapaah, the Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, as a caretaker.

This position has been viewed as concerning, particularly given the Ministry’ s alleged difficulties. Meanwhile, Adwoa Safo responded on social media, saying, ” I won’ t stay in the United States forever.

” I have a sacred social commitment with the noble people of Dome- Kwabenya. I’ ll be back in good time to continue the fantastic work we’ ve done in the constituency and properly represent their interests and aspirations in the House of Commons in August.

” John Boadu called the situation as ” dicey” on Peace FM’ s ‘ The Platform’ show, adding that the party will agree if Parliament reconvenes from recess and she is not around.

This circumstance is a little risky. . . With this challenge, I know we have a capable hand in taking care of the place in Hon Cecilia Dapaah. . . if you don’ t take care, any form of the verdict can worsen the situation. . . I want to believe that we’ ll be out of this very soon. . . we don’ t want to compound and create more problems.

If Parliament reconvenes without her, we’ ll have to consider how to proceed with the Ministry, ” he told Nana Yaw Kessel.

The first Meeting of the Second Session of the Eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic was adjourned.

Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah- Bonsu, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Majority Leader of Parliament, has stated that Parliament will most likely resume it’s recess on May 24th, 2022.
