The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has finally come out to send another strong message to all Ghanaians concerning the rollout of the controversial electronic transaction levy. Speaking in a recent interview on TV3 Network, the spokesperson for the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) took the privilege to assure Ghanaians that, all the necessary measures are being put in place in other to address all issues regarding exemptions on E- levy amongst other related issues.
In addition to this, the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) also urges Ghanaians to reach out for assistance whenever any customer was wrongfully deducted.
” If you complain to your charging entity or have some difficulties or challenges and you think that you have been deducted the levy in a wrongful manner, and then you are not satisfied with what your entity is doing, GRA is also available; we have hotlines, we have our toll- free line that is 0800900110. If you call that number, we will be able to make sure that we are addressing your challenges.
There has been a lot of collaboration with the charging entities. We are even on the communication, technical side and collaborating to roll out communications plans so that we come out with one single source of truth” , a spokesperson for GRA emphatically stated.
