Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has received a lot of backlash on social media after speaking out about the teacher- learner fee during the time of John Dramani Mahama’ s presidency.
Speaking as the former Minister of Education, Professor Jane Naana made it plain that, NDC did not remove the teacher- learner allowance but they rather made it in a form of a loan where students can gain access to a tremendous amount of cash in other to resolve their obligations in Schools.

Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang made this declaration at the Wesley College in Kumasi while speaking to members of the NDC’ s Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) student wing. ” Education should never be viewed as a cost- cutting exercise; this is harmful. ” Because education is about the future, you must make the best selections possible. It is about your future, all of you young individuals sitting here. ” – Jane Nana expressed herself.
In other news, It’ s been less than a year and a half since Ghanaians voted. President Akufo- Addo was re- elected for a second tenure. The next elections are already being discussed. The two main political parties are preparing for the upcoming election. The incumbent NPP will have to field a recent aspirant, but the main opposition, the NDC, will try to re- elect John Mahama.
