“King Promise” Akufo Addo Scams Ghanaians As Agenda 111 “Falls Into Water”- Segbefia Reveals

The President during the critical stages of Covid- 19 promised that his government will build 111 hospitals across the country to facilitate healthcare.

He stated emphatically that all the 111 hospitals will be completed within a period of 18 months. His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo speaking said

” This project will provide 111 standard 100- bed district hospitals with accommodation for doctors and nurses in districts without district hospitals, six new regional hospitals for each of the six new regions, rehabilitate the Efia Nkwanta hospital in the Western one new regional hospital for the Western Region and three psychiatry hospitals for each of the three zones of the country ie. the North, Middle and the Coastal.

The entire package at an estimated cost of US$1. 765billion,” he said” . 18 months after this promise, no hospital under the Agenda 111 initiative has been completed to be used.

The President when asked about why the project haa delayed gave a new explanation that his estimated time of 18 months start counting when the project start and not when he made the promise. Regardless he will make sure all the 111 hospitals are completed before he exit office in 2025.

Meanwhile, the former Minister of Health under then Ex President Mahama administration thinks that His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo and the New Patriotic Party have failed and lied to Ghanaians.
