Gone are the days when most politicians regardless of age ranging from the Presidency, Members of Parliament, Ministers, Government Appointees and high political figures always keep their beard trimmed to the skin.
Interestingly some of these big politicians have chosen to join the beard trend which is most seen among the youth.
If you can’ t beat them you join them. These politicians are officially part of the beard gang.
Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh
The current Energy Minister and former Education Minister, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh is now a beard gang member.

Initially the Honourable Member of Parliament was trimming down his beard but now he has decided to join flow as most young men do.
Gabby Otchere Darko Mensah
Mr Gabby Otchere known to be one of the most controversial Politicians in Ghana and the cousin of His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo despite his old age deems beard shaving as an outmooded cultural practice. With his white beard, he proudly leaves it grown.

Mr Alex Segbefia
The former Health Minister in the then NDC administration since going into opposition has also sent his beard into opposition. Just like his other colleagues, Mr Alex Segbefia’ s beard can now been clearly seen in all the pictures he takes.
Asante Bediatuo
Beards has become part and parcel of sacretary to the presidency, Mr Asante Bediatuo. Among the list he is the only who had to some extent a grow beard before coming into power 2017. Since then his beard has been booming as if he’s is using beard boosters.
