ACCRA – One man has been charged with the murder of a nurse at mortuary road in Accra, Ablekuman South District, KORLE Bu police station announced Saturday evening.
Baba Musah was charged with murdering Sandra Boateng, who worked as a nurse at Royal Hospital. Boateng was attacked shortly after 5 a.m. on Saturday, April. 9, at a bus stop at the mortuary road. According to investigators, Ali punched Boateng so hard that she fell to the concrete, fracturing her skull. The investigation reveals she was attacked for no apparent reason. She died immediately in the hospital they arrive at the KORLE- BU teaching hospital . She was 23 years old.

“Sandra Boateng unselfishly dedicated her life to caring for others in their time of need,” father said in a statement Saturday. “To lose such a valuable member of our family is tragic and my office will hold accountable the person responsible for her death.”
KORLE BU police station Chief Michel Owusu commented on Boateng’ death on social media, calling it “tragic and senseless,” adding, “This victim lived her life for others. We are falling short.”
Police said the 48-year-old is experiencing homelessness. Police say he did have a police record with multiple violent crimes.
The Police CID is still investigating this case.
