Anambra Election: PDP Candidate Concedes Defeat to Soludo

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the just concluded Anambra Governorship election Valentine Ozigbo has conceded defeat and congratulated the winner and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance Professor Chukwuma Soludo.
The PDP candidate in a statement made available to newsmen in Awka the Anambra state capital said he has personally called and congratulated professor Soludo and urged him to rule in the interest of the people.
Although the PDP candidate lament over what he described as the use of government funds to fund the election, he also blamed the electoral umpire INEC for using untrained staff for the election.
Professor Soludo polled 112,229 votes to defeat Ozigbo of the PDP who polled 53,807 to come second.
