3 Dead, 1 Injured in Ogun Road Accident

Three persons have been confirmed dead in a fatal crash that occurred around Saapade Bridge, Ogere area of Ogun State, at about 8 am on Sunday.

The spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Ogun State, Florence Okpe confirmed to Galaxy TV News that a total of five persons were involved in the accident, all male adults.

Okpe said one person sustained an injury as three deaths were recorded from the crash.

According to her, a Mack truck, with registration number, SMK499XU and a Nissan car marked GH598LND were involved

The FRSC’s image-maker stated that the suspected causes of the crash were route violation (one-way drive) and excessive speed.

The Sector Commander, FRSC Ogun, Corps Commander Ahmed Umar, cautioned motorists from violating traffic rules and regulations because of the dangers involved.
