Samsung Users Worldwide Receive weird “1” Notification

Galaxy phone users worldwide received a strange notification from The Find My Mobile app by Samsung. According to theverge.com, the alert received by the users was titled “1” and the text underneath it was also “1”. A couple of hours after this occurred, Samsung came out to the public to say the notifications sent to their users wasn’t intentional and that it was sent during a test.

This isn’t the first time such an incident has accrued from a phone company. In 2019 OnePlus mistakenly sent it’s users Chinese characters and symbols which was also caused by a failed internal test from a software update.

Samsung took to their twitter page to tweet about the incident and stated all users who received the “1” text message devices won’t be affected in any way whatsoever.
