Difference Between Application Software and System Software.
Application software is written by high-level programming languages and runs per user request. System software is written by low-level languages, maintains the system resources, and provides the path for application software to run.
The difference between application software and system software is that, without system software, an application software can’t run, on the other hand without application software, system always runs. System software is the interface between application software and system. Application software runs as per user request.
